OPTION 2: IN-PERSON MEET & GREET

• Contact Steve Scott at The Ensemble Theatre to set up a day and time for your audition on one of these Saturdays: April 27, May 11, or May 18
• In-person interviews will take 10-15 minutes
• THIS IS FOR NEW INCOMING TALENT ONLY AND IS A REQUIREMENT BEFORE YOU BEGIN YOUR FIRST CLASS

• Submit a completed registration form & non-refundable $50 fee
• Choose requested session
• Submit tuition payment

About Our Young Performers Program

The Young Performers Program (YPP) is an exciting, energizing and intensive performing arts program for youth ages 6-17 who want to explore their creative and artistic talents. Since 1985, more than 4,000 Houston-area youth have participated in YPP, including some who are now professionals on Broadway, film and television, and a variety of other successful careers.

We combine the study of theatre, dance, music, arts education, technical skill, creative dramatics and performance for a well-rounded educational experience. Four sessions are held throughout the year: Spring Break (one week), two month-long Summer Break sessions, and Winter Break (one week).

The program offers an introductory overview of the arts through theatre, dance and music motivating youth to use theatre as a means to explore and inspire.

Each session culminates in a production that encompasses all of the taught disciplines.

The Young Performers Program affords students the opportunity to perform in mainstage shows, city-wide celebrations, celebrity galas, and a vast number of special events. Our teaching artists are professionals who have honed their craft and now are paying it forward as they pour in and impart into young lives, just as the Young Performer Program did for them.
