Audrey Lawson Arena
Known as the “Black Box”, our 1,400 sq. ft. arena is a dynamic, non-traditional space perfect for stage productions, spoken word, festive celebrations, and intimate receptions.

Our venue is available for rental on both weekdays (Monday through Thursday) and weekends (Friday through Sunday), as well as during the holiday rental season from November 1 through January 5. To ensure a smooth conclusion to every event, all functions must end and guests must vacate the premises no later than 12:00 midnight. The Ensemble Theatre is ADA accessible.
Convenient parking is available at the Mid Main Parking Garage and nearby street parking. Valet Parking is required when there is more than one large event occurring at the same time. Only valet companies approved by the City of Houston can be contracted. Prices vary depending on the number of guests and the length of the event.
Alcohol beverages are permitted. Service must be provided through a licensed caterer or bar service (TABC).
All printed materials using The Ensemble Theatre name must be approved by the Facility Coordinator or Executive Director.
