We are seeking local and non-local talent, both Equity and Non-Equity, for our 2026–2027 season. We welcome strong, diverse actors, singers, and dancers of all backgrounds and identities.
IF YOU HAVE NOT WORKED WITH THE ENSEMBLE THEATRE IN THE PAST 10 YEARS...
You MUST attend General Auditions. Anyone who has not participated in a Mainstage production, Tour Ed, YPP, or a Staged Reading with us since 2016, must attend the General Auditions.
Date: Sunday, May 3rd & Monday, May 4th
Time: 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM (both days)
Location: The Ensemble Theatre: 3535 Main St. Houston, TX 77002
Select a time slot for your audition HERE if you are planning to attend general auditions in person, which is STRONGLY PREFERRED.
Audition Requirements:
You will have 2 minutes to share: Monologue(s) or one monologue and one song. Songs must be acappella (no tracks or accompanists). Monologues will NOT be provided and MUST be memorized.
Bring a headshot and resume with you to the audition. (Don't have these items? No problem, bring a good high- quality picture of yourself and share your prior acting experiences on a sheet of paper)
VIDEO SUBMISSION (General Audition)
If you cannot attend general auditions in person, you may submit a video audition. Submit the video audition with THIS FORM by Friday, May 1st at 12PM.
