A play with music, silly elves, and a lot of heart, Lil Man Saves Christmas reminds us that achieving your dreams takes a community and courage and sometimes a little magic from old St. Nick!

Profiles In Black
Written by CELESTE BEDFORD WALKER
Grades 2-8
Lost on a field trip to the museum, four children wander onto the mysterious thirteenth floor where they discover a closed Black History exhibit of artifacts of prominent black artists and activists. As the kids handle the items, they magically become figures, living their history, and telling their stories accompanied by music and songs from the period. The play pays tribute to well-known contributors to our history and encourages our youth to acknowledge and appreciate everyday heroes of their lives today.
