2018-2019 Season Auditions and Casting

The Ensemble Theatre is preparing auditions for its upcoming season. We will begin taking appointments: May 1, 2018. To schedule an audition time please email: Kedrick Brown, Artistic Assistant at theensemblecasting@gmail.com


  1. Please email the DATE and TIME you would like to audition along with a CONTACT PHONE NUMBER
  2. Place in  SUBJECT LINE "Audition" , "First and Last Name" and “Youth” if you are a child auditioning. 
  3. If you have performed in a Mainstage show during years 2006-2018 you will need to attend callback ONLY. Those dates will be sent to you separately.

GENERAL AUDITION DATES

YOUTH GENERAL AUDITIONS
Saturday, June 23, 2018- 10am-12pm 
YOUTH (Ages 6-12.  Only come to generals if you are not currently in our 2018 Young Performers Program)


ADULT GENERAL AUDITIONS
Sunday, June 24, 2018- 6pm-10pm

WHAT TO PREPARE FOR AUDITIONS:
1½ minute monologue/Song Acapella (Only if you are a singer)
8x10 Copy of recent headshot or photo
Bio and/or Resume

Who:
Men, Women and Children of all ages and cultural backgrounds

Special casting needs:
***Must Be Strong Singer and Dancer for Musicals***

***Must be strong singers and dancers for the holiday show***

  • Audition times will be scheduled in five minute intervals. 
    Auditions are scheduled strictly on a first come first served basis.  If the time you select is already taken, you will placed in the next available spot. 
  • In your email please place "Audition" with your "First and Last Name" in the subject line. 
  • Any emails received without a specified date and time will be placed in any remaining openings we may have.

• 2 minute monologue

• Bio and/or a list of performance experience
• If auditioning for a musical, bring sheet music of a song that shows voice and range in 8 bars marked for the accompanist

We hold annual auditions for the mainstage season.

Special auditions are held periodically throughout the year for touring education and additional projects.
